About the workshop

Microsoft Project is most widely used tool for project scheduling and tracking across industries. However due to lack of proper training and knowledge about the capabilities of Microsoft Project, only a small proportion of Project Management community use MS Project to its full extend. This workshop is designed for current and future project managers using or intended to use Microsoft Project 2013 for effective planning, scheduling, monitoring and controlling the projects. This course will provide the knowledge and skills to prepare realistic and maintainable project plans and techniques to control and monitor projects more efficiently throughout the lifecycle of the project.

Objective of the Workshop

  • To provide knowledge and hands-on practice of MS Project 2013 for effective scheduling, tracking, evaluating performance and steering the projects with greater efficiency throughout the life cycle of the project.
  • To provide useful tips and features for the optimum utilization of the tool to the managers who are already using it.

Takeaway

After this workshop, participants will be able to know latest features of Microsoft Project 2013, how to use them in different phases (Initiation, Planning, Execution, Monitoring/Control and Closure) of the projects to manage their projects more effectively. Participants will be equipped with the knowledge to use Project 2013 more efficiently in their day to day practice to have better control on their projects, manage them effectively and spend much less time than before. We also provide post training support to help participants if they face any challenge while using this tool in day to day practice

Who can attend

Executives playing the role of Project Leads, Project Manager, Program Managers, Delivery Managers, Delivery Heads, Project Directors in their organization or any one practicing project management and interested in Microsoft Project 2013. A familiarity with basic project management concepts and terminology will be helpful. No prior knowledge of MS Project is required.
